FERRIDOL not only introduces exogenous iron, but is able to activate the metabolism of that already present in the body.

Iron plays a crucial role in the synthesis of hemoglobin and myoglobin. These two proteins transport oxygen from the lungs to the rest of the body and to the muscles respectively. Furthermore, iron is responsible for increasing resistance to tiredness and strengthening the immune system. As can already be seen from its action, iron is crucial for the human organism and its scarcity can cause various problems as well as generating what is commonly known as anemia, which is a condition in which red blood cell quantities are reduced, rendering them unable to effectively distribute oxygen to all the various tissues and organs.

In some pathologies, usually inflammatory, iron appears to be free inside the cells rather than bound to proteins and organic compounds as should happen physiologically.

During these inflammatory processes, iron remains trapped in the cells and cannot be released into the bloodstream by specific proteins, which are inhibited by inflammation. Therefore, iron reserves in the body are often present, but blocked inside the cell, generating a sort of “false” anemia.
The molecule responsible for resolving this situation is lactoferrin, which is contained in FERRIDOL at a dosage of 100mg.

Lactoferrin acts by enabling the release of iron from the cells within which it had remained trapped due to phlogistic processes, and also strengthens the physiological bond of iron with proteins and organic compounds. Thanks to this molecule, the iron can once again be released into the blood and taken where it is needed. Thanks to FERRIDOL this “false” anemia will therefore be resolved. In addition to lactoferrin, FERRIDOL provides 30mg of sweet iron, a bisglycinate iron chelated in amino acids which does not cause contact effects on the gastric mucosa, and which is entirely absorbed.
Finally, FERRIDOL has 240mg of Vitamin C which has the role of facilitating the absorption of iron and Folic Acid which is very useful during pregnancy.
