TREACOR

Acts effectively on cholesterol, thanks to three synergistic actions conducted by Monacolin, Berberine and Silymarin

To reduce cholesterol levels, statins are often used, which unfortunately have side effects such as the increase in CPK (an enzyme present mainly in skeletal muscle tissue and cardiac fibers) which translates into muscle pain mainly concentrated on the limbs. However, it would be wise to consider a valid alternative to statins, represented by Monacolin-based food supplements which, on the contrary, do not produce side effects. If bioavailable and well balanced, it is scientifically proven that a supplement can act effectively without side effects, even on patients with statin intolerances.

The efforts and studies of EIDON salus have therefore been dedicated to the composition of a food supplement, starting from the assumption that high cholesterol can be effectively treated by Natural Medicine without chemical composition. The result is TREACOR, whose composition undoubtedly represents an innovation in the field of modern nutraceuticals thanks to the powerful synergistic action between Monacolin and Berberine.

Monacolin is nothing more than fermented red rice, therefore a nutraceutical, which inhibits the HMG-CoA reductase enzyme, which is responsible for the production of cholesterol in the liver. This allows the production of endogenous cholesterol to be limited.

Berberine, on the other hand, is a herbal medicine which, like Monacolin, reduces LDL cholesterol levels, but does so by inhibiting the action of PCSK9, a gene capable of modulating plasma cholesterol levels. An increase in its activity produces the reduction of hepatic receptors for LDL-Col, with the consequent increase in plasma levels of the latter. Berberine is very effective but poorly bioavailable in the human body.
For this reason, Silymarin has been added to TREACOR, a synergizing agent that helps make Berberine bioavailable.

Cholesterol

Cholesterol is a fat present in the blood. More than two thirds of it is produced by our body, while the remaining part is introduced through the ingestion of food. It performs several important functions: it’s responsible for the formation of nerve cells, participates in the digestive process and in the production of vitamin D, and is important for bone health.

In any case, an excess of LDL, the component of cholesterol that is considered “bad”, can represent a risk, especially for the heart. For this reason, in addition to a healthy diet and a healthy lifestyle, it is essential to periodically undergo blood tests to evaluate the level of cardiovascular risk our body is subjected to.
