Zovyal, hyarulonic acid for joint infiltration

Zovyal has a high concentration of active ingredients equal to 2%. The percentage of most of the other hyaluronic acid for infiltration is between 1% and 1.5%. The result is an increase in the amounts of the active ingredient, hyaluronic acid, in the syringe of ZOVYAL. Exactly 20mg/ml.

ZOVYAL is a pure hyaluronic acid in the form of a sterilized injectable gel. This is an apyrogenic natural product (doesn’t arouse fever), biodegradable and isotonic (does not change the natural osmotic balances of the body but it integrates physiologically); moreover it is 100% biocompatible for the human body.

ZOVYAL is distinguished in four different categories; this natural product is versatile in its use for each of the joints of the human body and for each of the pathologies that can occur thanks to its different dosages:

  • ZOVYAL M 2ml 40mg with an average molecular weight of 1.7 MDa
  • ZOVYAL M 4ml 80mg with an average molecular weight of 1.7 MDa
  • ZOVYAL H 2ml 40mg with a very high molecular weight of 3.0 MDa
  • ZOVYAL H 4ml 80mg with a very high molecular weight of 3.0 MDa

This natural product is obtained through fermentation of Streptococcus equi crops: now the extraction form from the rooster comb has become very rare as it is more likely to cause hypersensitivity and therefore adverse reactions. ZOVYAL H, thanks to its high molecular weight, is able to provide high rheological activity. Indeed it restores the synovial fluid to its normal viscoelastic conditions. This means that the joint can restore its proper degree of lubrication, it regains normal mobility and it’s protected from daily mechanical wear and potential impacts.

ZOVYAL M, has a molecular weight equal to 1.7 MDa. Therefore it is able to provide the perfect balance between biological and rheological properties; it restore the metabolism of synovial cells by stimulating the biosynthesis of endogenous hyaluronic acid, it reduces inflammation and joint pain by blocking pro-inflammatory cytokines. Moreover ZOVYAL M reinstates the normal viscoelastic properties of synovial fluid.

These properties are defined: rheological properties or viscosupplementation.In addition ZOVYAL stimulates the cells that produce hyaluronic acid and the synoviocytes in order to restore their independent production activity. This allows to reconstitute normal levels of hyaluronic acid in the human body. These are the so-called biological properties or viscoinduction. In terms of production, ZOVYAL is produced in high technology Italian pharmaceutical workshops that are monitored and made authentic by international organizations: the EMA, and the Italian Ministry of Health. The fermentation process leading to production takes place in the latest generation of bioreactors, equipped with microfiltration systems suitable for the immediate and continuous removal of any toxic waste. This process completely eliminates protein residues and endotoxins, making the product pure.
